Red Barn

Here is another WetCanvas project using underpainting of alcohol wash. Here is the first step, the wash.
And the finished painting. I tried to correct the perspective on the silo a little, but it got a little wobbly, so I stopped. Just consider it an OLD silo!!

Lorikeet

This was an experiment for me this time. I used an alcohol wash underpainting before adding any other pastel. I really like how this one turned out and I'm ready to try another one! Hope you like it also!
I'm showing you the three steps I took to the finished piece.
Step 1 is the alcohol wash.
Step 2 I started adding color. Didn't get it finished in one sitting though.
Step 3 is the finished piece!

Spires

Just finished this piece. An exercise in shadows for The Spotlight at WetCanvas. I see some things I could've done differently, but overall I like it. Comments and suggestions always greatly appreciated!

Peppers

I just finished this for a Wet Canvas exercise in shadows. This was a struggle for me. I think because I had to think about what I was doing! Started out with no background. Decided it needed something, so added background color. Not sure I like it and maybe could have done it differently. Just not sure.
